Washington, DC-based DJ and producer Will Eastman is one third of the group Volta Bureau (along with Outputmessage and Micah Vellian) and co-owner of U Street Music Hall, named by the Washington Post “best dance club in the region.” The Washington Post named him “one of DC’s titan DJs” and DJ authority Discobelle called him “a new force to be reckoned with.” Eastman’s original tracks and remixes have received support from a wide range of DJs and media coverage from BBC Radio 1 and NPR, among many others.

Archie Pelago is a live/production outfit emphasizing the fusion of instrumental textures and experimental beat landscapes. The Brooklyn-based trio is comprised of Cosmo D (cello/ableton wizard), Kroba (sax/fx) and Hirshi (dj/trumpet). Joining forces in late summer of 2010, Archie Pelago has been committed to producing powerful tunes inspired by contemporary bass music culture. Combining an electronic method with their unmistakable chamber approach, when the three guys get in a room together, magic happens-- with their productions and groundbreaking live experience. Having played with the likes of Shigeto, Ben UFO, Oneman, XI, Wheez-ie and more, Archie's unique live set has been praised for balancing their original music with live remixes of their favorite dance jams. Reeling off of their recent single released on Car Crash Set, Archie is poised to be dropping several original releases and remixes in 2012 including their unmistakable re-work of Distal and HxdB's "Booyant", out in January on the venerable Tectonic imprint.
